i wonder how many people still check xanga.. i do like the simple, blog-style layout of xanga, as opposed to facebook with gazillion possible add-ons. did you know that gazillion is an actual word? i learn so much on scrabulous. which is the primary reason i spend more time now on facebook than xanga.

just wanted to post some pics that're already on my facebook:

Aaron et al 3
this is aaron's place, where we usually hang out. wally's on the left, aaron's on the right. aaron's a second year physics grad student who shares my office suite

Aaron et al 4
from left: kim, bar (kris), and amalia.. amalia's the other physics second year grad student i spend a lot of time with. she's environmentally conscious vegetarian who likes to read, like me. =)

Chris me and Menchie
menchie, chris, and me. they're both from hawaii. i asked chris about grasshoppers. they don't eat them.

I'm still here! One day, I'm going to write a post about Xanga -- I think it's superior for sharing deep thoughts. Don't get me wrong -- I'm a fan of Facebook too (as my profile makes clear), but that I don't like how it's become far too complicated and tailored for the short-attention-span generation.

Give me my Xanga any day -- I've had far better discussions, read far more deep thoughts (theological or boy-girl-relationship stuff =P), and gained far more insights through this forum than a thousand wall posts and pokes.

You know, I've been making the transition over to Blogger. It's not ready for public consumption yet, and I'm still posting here instead of there, but I think I will make the switch eventually.

As for FB vs. blogging, I wish FB had a better way to incorporate blog posts into FB. Right now, I have an RSS feed of my Xanga blog going into my FB profile, but it comes out as a very small part of my profile.
